Message The turbos are air pumps that pump air into the engine. The engine is a giant pump that pumps air out. When the turbos pump more air/faster into the engine than it can pump out, then you have compressor surge. That means no more air can get into the engine. The air would reverse flow and damage the compressor wheel.

That's a turbo/engine matching problem. The turbos are too big for the engine.
